Rose Walsh (Studio #15)
Rose Walsh is a professional artist and full-time K-8 art teacher whose work explores connection, place, and memory through vivid portraiture and mixed media. For the 2025 LO Open Studios, she will feature two series: Neighborhood, a heartfelt tribute to the everyday people she's encountered in her travels, and Seashells, a contemplative collection of seashell portraits drawn from her own findings. Working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media across both large and small formats, Walsh creates intimate visual narratives that invite reflection on the beauty of the familiar and the natural world. Her work balances observation, emotion, and a teacher’s curiosity.
Rose will be hosted by Bithia Bjurman, along with Bonnie Moore and Doug Moore.
NOTE: Home studio on flag lot and guests will need to park along the main road.
