Linda Gaudin (Studio #28)
I have been knitting since I was a little kid in 4-H and still have my first sweater! My mother was the leader and my grandmother also helped me with my craft. I put my needles down for several years and picked them up again to join a couple of different knitting groups. When I quit my profession to be a stay at home mother, I started teaching knitting classes from my home and selling my hand knits at various school sponsored boutiques. This blossomed and I participated in more sales and even organized a Merry Marketplace that my artist friends and I did for 10 years. Now I sell my creations mostly at the LO Farmer's Market and the Arts Council holiday sale, along with Etsy. I love to customize knitting patterns for pretty textures and I love to combine yarns to create one of a kind items. I'm excited to join the studio tour and hope to have you come by, see my knits, answer questions, and hopefully you will go home with something unique, cozy, and warm!
