Julie Rosenzweig (Studio #10)

My journey as a ceramic artist was unplanned and unexpected. Enrolling in a pottery class had been quietly waiting for a long while, though I wasn’t sure why. Understanding the why began to emerge in 2018.  My personal, somatic, and spiritual experiences while transforming clay are beyond words--not an uncommon challenge when aspects of self are stored deep within. Contemplating clay compositions ignites something in me that is asking for expression and is ready to be seen. Simply stated, making pottery inspires me, grounds me, frustrates me, and connects me to the world in extraordinary ways.
