Cindy Sullivan (Studio #6)
Cindy Sullivan began painting ten years ago. She felt compelled to begin painting after seeing a colorful family photo. Sullivan had previously only experimented with mosaic tiles while living in Portland, Oregon. Now Sullivan creates acrylic paintings that conjure a nostalgia based on California lifestyles of the 60’s and 70’s when life was slow and unhurried. Sullivan also created one of a kind commissions for many clients all over the United States. Sullivan has exhibited regionally and has received awards. She was awarded Best in Show at The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts in 2019. She did her first debut at The Outsider Art Fair in New York City this past February of 2025. Several paintings are featured at The Ruffed Grouse Gallery in Narrowsburg, NY.
