Beth Yazhari (Studio #19)
Yazhari incorporates fabrics and beads from a wide variety of cultures into much of her work. These globally inspired pieces, with their rich detail and intricate symmetry, are sometimes compared to Persian carpets. She is also naturally drawn to themes of spirituality and social justice in her work, and at times she incorporates in subtle ways the symbols and designs from both her own Baha’i faith and from traditions of other faiths from around the world.
Beth will be hosting Keri Bloom (2D Mixed Media, Jewelry)
