Karen Christie Fisher's non-representational paintings are an immersive exploration of color and texture, inviting a visceral, sensory experience of paint.
Raised in New York City and influenced by contemporary design, she moved to Oregon in 1999 to attend Oregon College of Art and Craft. She now lives and works in the foothills of Mt. Hood, Oregon, where she builds the wood panels she paints on by hand.
