Jewelry
Denise Cramer Hershey is a jewelry artisan whose practice is rooted in the tactile and energetic properties of natural materials. Her signature collections feature fine silver nature-themed focal earrings, necklaces, pendants, and charms that celebrate the beauty and symbolism of the natural world. Working primarily with fine and sterling silver precious metal clay, semi-precious stones, and carefully curated beads, she brings meticulous craftsmanship to every piece. Her technical repertoire includes hand-fabricating sterling silver toggle clasps, wire-wrapping stones, and creating custom earring wires—details that distinguish her work and reflect her commitment to quality. Her creative philosophy centers on the sensory and spiritual dimensions of materials. She considers how semiprecious stones feel in hand, honoring their frequency and energetic properties as essential to the design process. The natural coloration and inherent variation of each stone inform her artistic choices, allowing the material's unique character to guide the composition. Through this approach, her jewelry becomes a bridge between skilled craftsmanship and intentional, meaningful wearable art.

Nancy Coffelt
Painting
My paintings are influenced by the Impressionists, Japanese woodblock prints, and nature—especially animals. My medium is acrylic gouache and metal leaf creating a changeable play of light. Through that movement, pattern, and a portrait approach to my subjects, I hope to bridge a connection between the viewer and the natural world. My work is shown in galleries in Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii and my illustration work has been featured in several children’s books and by companies including The Nature company and Starbucks.

Painting
I have been a sketcher and painter for my entire life, learning beside my mother as she delved into watercolor painting during my early childhood. I am very much a direct painter: much of the planning and revision happens as I work. My process is loose and intuitive — I invent as much as I observe. My painting practice is about exploration, risk-taking, physical movement, and deep immersion in the process. When I come up for air I am often surprised by the end result.
