My hand-built, layered vessels and bowls are inspired by the shapes and textures of a riverbed. Meandering paths, rocky beaches and the cut banks of sediments from long ago are embedded into each vessel, using a medium that is sometimes dug from the side of a river. As the viewer’s eyes survey my art, I hope they feel the wonder of nature and the peace I feel on the river’s edge.
