It was always my dream to open an art studio and in 2006, that dream became LakeStar Art Studio. I'm a lifelong artist and have always enjoyed exploring new ways to grow my craft and refine my artistic abilities.
Sharing what I know and building a sense of community through art is what I love most. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to teach hundreds of students - young and old.

Since 2009, I've been creating fine art mosaics and garden art using recycled materials such as vintage windows, recycled bottle glass, recycled stained glass and various glass pieces like coasters, candy dish lids, candle holders and so on. I also create pique assiettes with found objects, pottery, recycled jewelry and other recycled frames. My work is quirky, yet 100% unique, colorful and fun!

My art is my art, I love sharing it. I make wonderful fiber art creations. Anything from handspun art yarns to the woven wall hanging and everything in between. I am an artist painting with wool and just about any type of fiber there is.
My specialty is spinning fibers into art yarns, yarns that can be used to make more art. I weave fabrics, I crochet patterns, and I spin all the fibers into art yarns. Most of the time it is about the process and not the finished piece, I love to create.
