My work emerges from a deeply present studio practice, informed by contemplation of experiences including loss that continue to shape how I understand memory and resilience. I construct layered, symbolic compositions where images surface and dissolve, creating visual thresholds between concealment and emergence . The earlier Doorways photography series initiated this investigation of passage, evolving into the ongoing Archway and Archway 11 Series. Additional bodies of work , including Seashells, Rising Above, and the Neighborhood Series, extend this dialogue between inner perception and shared human experience. Working in series allows meaning to build over time, each piece moving toward connection, continuity, and possibility within absence.
