Lucas Nickerson is a painter, printmaker, and wood carver whose work bridges the raw beauty of nature and humor with bold, expressive form. Rooted in tradition and history but driven by curiosity and humor, his pieces reveal stories carved in grain and painted with emotion and wit.

Lucas has juried artwork for TRAG's Gallery in Clackamas County, Oregon Federation of Women’s Clubs Visual Art Scholarship Contest for many years, and the Preserve our Past (POP) Arts Contest for Oregon City. He has completed public art projects for the city of Oregon City including the mural on the public library's resale shop and the public restroom mural design at the foot of the Oregon City Elevator.

Lucas is an Oregon City artist and has participated in our tour since 2023. He is a new addition to our board for 2026 and will serve as MEMBER-AT-LARGE. Lucas will be leading our jurying team, be our Registrar and be the go to guy for Google related usage.
