An open studio tour is a free annual event that provides an opportunity for artists to present their art, their studios and themselves to the public.  It allows artists to show & share their process and have an opportunity to sell directly to art lovers.  Artist studios are casual, unstuffy environments. It is a wonderful way to meet the artists, relax and converse with them. Each artist has an interesting story to tell about how and why they became an artist. Each artist has unique techniques and practices they would love to share. Some places will have tasty homemade cookies, others may have trail mix. You will be genuinely welcomed in all of them.
